  • Mental Performance Coach

  • Reiki certified

Bri was born and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire and is now based in Missoula, Montana practicing as a physician assistant in orthopaedic surgery. She lives off the energy of helping people discover, explore, heal and accomplish their goals. These deep curiosities led her to learn more about psychology in relation to performance and pursue formal training in performance coaching and Brainspotting. Upon completing Brainspotting training, she realized this tool to be invaluable for all types of performers/creatives who experience mental blocks and barriers, or for those who are solely looking to improve and get a boost in their performance. She has found Brainspotting to be remarkably effective and efficient and is excited to share this practice with you; to be a part of your journey in discovering and overcoming mental blocks, exploring what’s within, and boosting performance and creativity to new levels.

Please note: Though Bri is also a medical practitioner, she is here as your coach and will not provide any medical diagnosis, treatment or advice.

The Path to Brainspotting and Performance Coaching:

“Despite being active in the things I was pulled to do, something inside just felt “off;” something was holding me back. I thought I could take some deep breaths and just “get over it,” or that something was wrong with me - queue in the cyclic negative self-talk.

Instead, these instances accumulated little-by-little and made things worse over time. I was anxious, fearful, tense, and would get so nervous some ailment would suddenly surface; performance declined, then the cycle would start over. I began to lose confidence in myself in the sport and musical areas I had always loved doing.”

Discovering and becoming aware of her own - past and current - performance anxieties, traumas and blocks around: competitions, auditions, recitals, instrumental solos, injuries, and public speaking, took years. Once these realizations surfaced, she became fascinated with sport performance psychology and healing energies; how to strengthen the mind through mental performance skills, meditation, and Reiki. She stumbled upon Brainspotting while on a bike ride with The Cycling House. She and another guest were chatting; He happened to be a Brainspotting practitioner, which opened her eyes to the Brainspotting realm. She was immediately intrigued with the practice and dove in head first; her mission took off from there.
